It all began with the Pantone.

They have been releasing their Color of the Year that impacts everything from fashion, home decor and design in general. Pantone’s Color of the Year 2023 is Viva Magenta. I designed several patterns around Viva Magenta and their Ignite color palette. I then took to looking at other companies such as Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moores and Behr. I also found HGTV Home, Better Homes and Gardens and Glidden all do Colors of the Year. With out thinking about how they would all interact with one another I decided to use all seven colors challenging myself to use them all together. This could have been a bad idea but luckily all the colors work so well together that I extended this challenge to make at least one pattern a month if not once a week.
